Pushchair Accessories - Cosytoes, Snugglesacs and Footmuffs for Pushchairs

You want to keep baby warm on cold days so you can either kit baby out in an all-in-one waterproof or you can use a cosytoe, snugglesac or footmuff with your buggy.

Cosytoes, snugglesacs and footmuffs are basically the same thing. They are designed to keep baby warm when in the pushchair or buggy.

Some cosytoes are designed like a sleeping bag where baby's legs occupy the same space. Others have been designed to allow baby to move their legs individually.

All attach to the pushchair using the integral safety harness and baby sits cocooned within. Some can also be used when baby is travelling in the car seat.

There are many designs to choose from – single block colours to wacky animal prints. All are cosy being made generally of a fleece fabric and some have fleecy inners and waterproof outers which means you don't have to worry as much about light rain showers.

They should be washable and if possible able to go into the tumble dryer. You should expect to be able to use cosytoes until baby is three years old.

Bugaboo, Graco, Hauck i'coo, Maclaren, Mothercare, Phil & Ted's and Stokke are brands of pushchair that have their own make of cosytoe, snugglesacs and footmuffs.
