Liviano Tomasi, the company's founder had a passion for all things mechanical and particularly anything with four wheels. Initially Tomasi focused on his passion for go-karts and racing but with the influence of his wife Bruna, in 1963, he evolved his inventions into beautiful English-style prams - giving the company its baby name L'Inglesina Baby.

The company grew rapidly and for a decade, L'Inglesina Baby's production remained centered on English-style prams. In the 1970s it introduced a revolutionary stroller: the "Apollo" and in the 1980s, and the whole next decade, the company expanded its product line into baby seats, car seats and baby slings.

Today L'Inglesina Baby is one of the leading companies on the international scene, specialising in the baby and toddler sector. It retains its Italian flair for style and is found in over thirty countries worldwide.
