Safety Tips for Pushchairs

Always think carefully when using a pushchair. Get yourself into a routine to help make sure you and baby can travel about and have fun.

Have a look at the following tips to make sure your buggy motoring is happy.

Check the pushchair over before you put baby into it - make sure there are no sharp corners that could hurt baby.

Check that the brakes are working well and put them on before you put baby into the buggy
If you put baby into the pushchair outside your front door and then have to get something else from the house, make sure that the brake is on.

Make sure that if you are using a travel system, that the car seat is correctly secured into the pushchair frame.
Read your instructions carefully to make sure you understand how the car seat should fit, and ensure that you have secured it properly.

Check that the safety harness is operating well and can be tightened and loosened.

Check that the wheels are free of any debris that could clog up the locking mechanism
Check that you have no punctures or potential sharp thorns that could cause a puncture in the wheels.
